Honoured Best of Era Teams
A function was held in 2004 to announce the RCC Greatest Ever team and Era Teams up to that date. The function was well attended deserving of this prestigious night. There were many stories and proud past players as the teams were announced during the night. Further functions were held in 2011 and 2022 to announce the decade teams for 2001 to 2010 and 2011 to 2020 respectively.
Best Ever Team (1925 - 2003)
A list of the players considered by a selection panel in 2004 to form the best team over the club's history to that point in time. It was selected as a team based on the broad skill sets required in a cricket team so it is not merely the best players rated from 1 to 11. It therefore has the best opening bats, fast bowlers, spinners, middle order bats and wicketkeeper.
Best Era Team (2011-2020)
A list of the players considered by a selection panel to form the best team for the decade era (2011-2020). It was selected as a team based on the broad skill sets required in a cricket team so it is not merely the best players rated from 1 to 11. It therefore has the best opening bats, fast bowlers, spinners, middle order bats and wicketkeeper.
