The 1st XI captained by club legend Ron Webster won the A Grade premiership convincingly beating Nth Alphington. This match was the final game played by RCC champion and legend Dick Russell and he did not disappoint with a well made 118 and compiling two significant partnerships of 70 with John McKenzie and 104 with Ron Webster. Other notable bats in compiling a big score were Kevin Fahey (53), John McKenzie (46) and Ron Webster (85no). Batting first Rosanna amassed a total of 434. In reply Nth Alphington collapsed to be all out for 140 with opening bowler Ray Lake taking 6 for 36 off 15 overs.

The 1st XI led by captain and club coach Martin Legge won the A Grade premiership with a convincing win against Bellfield played at Heidelberg Park. Rosanna won the toss and batted, starting well with all top order bats getting runs. Geoff Wilson (53) and Paul Fahey (42 ) were the main contributors and at the end of Day 1, Rosanna was 4 for 176 off 81 overs with a new ball taken at 73 overs. Day 2 resulted in a magnificent partnership of 137 between David Jones (90) and Dennis Hartney (73) taking our score to 6 for 333 at the compulsory closure of our innings. ​ Bellfield in reply managed only 188. The attack was led by fast bowler Martin Legge with a massive effort bowling 38.3 overs taking 4 for 82 with Geoff Wilson the main destroyer through the middle order with his left arm orthodox spin taking 5 for 81 off 27 overs capping off a great all round match performance for Geoff. They were ably supported by economical bowling from the rest of the attack to keep the game under control with Bellfield all out for 188 off 98.3 overs well shy of the target.

The 1st XI captained by David Jones won the A Grade premiership against arch rival Bellfield. Rosanna batted first and  managed to get to a formidable 241 after a shaky start against a good attack being 4 for 61. Rick Hird (62), David Jones (59) and Chris Leech (36) were the best of the bats with the innings recovery driven by partnerships of 67 (Rick Hird-David Jones) and 64 (David Jones and Chris Leech). In reply, Bellfield could not make the required runs against the Lewis-Raywood strong attack. Mick Lewis' tearaway fast bowling and endurance through 32 overs took 3 for 89, whilst John Raywood with accurate fast-medium took 4 for 27 off 25.2 overs. Bellfield could only manage 182 falling short by 59 runs and the premiership once again returned to De Winton.

The junior competition was restricted to only Under 16 with strong clubs like Rosanna fielding two sides at different levels to cater for varying junior ages and abilities. This team had the honour of winning the club's first junior premiership. Captained by Jim Bryant, the team contained three future presidents of the club. Peter Dowley (2 for 30) and Jim Bryant (3 for 19) opened the attack and with a run out had Heidelberg reeling at 6 for 42. Over to Dennis Hartney (2 for 10) and Graeme Durrant (2 for 20) to restrict Heidelberg to 79. In reply, Rosanna was in a little trouble at 6 for 50, but a swashbuckling 32 from Trevor Lloyd (7 fours) in a partnership of 38 with Graeme Durrant, who went on to compile a fine 30 not out. With 21 from Geoff Davis, the innings was completed with a total of 149 giving the premiership to Rosanna. An interesting observation in this team was Mark Luby opening the batting who became a fine fast bowler for the first eleven, whilst Dennis Hartney who bowled first change and batted at 11 became one of our great first eleven bats. Also Trevor Lloyd went on to play football with  Fitzroy amassing 61 games from 1971 to 1975.

The Under 14A team captained by Mark Richardson won the premiership with a win over Yarra Valley at Warringal Park. This final was played over 3 days with 80 overs maximum each side and 12 overs maximum per bowler. Yarra Valley batted first and had to contend with a handy attack with John Raywood and Paul Groom opening the bowling with Peter Flynn and Mark Richardson following up. Yarra Valley got off to a good start with the first wicket falling at 34 but collapsed to be 8 for 86 off 52 overs at the end of the first day's play with Mark Richardson (2 for 16 off 12 overs) and Matthew Head (4 for 10 off 12 overs) being the destroyers. Chasing a total of 116, the Rosanna lads made hard work of it being 6 for 65 with a fighting 33 from Lee Pearsall. On the final day, Mark Richardson (27no) and Martin Nankiville (33no) got the side over the line with an unbeaten partnership of 53 for a deserving premiership: Rosanna 6 for 118 defeated Yarra Valley all out 116. Mark Richardson went on to play AFL football with Collingwood in a career of 141 games.

The Under 12 team captained by Matt Rose won the premiership with a win over Yallambie Sparrows at Banyule Flats. The U12s this season was a one day competition. The Grand Final was decided with a best of 3 matches.  In Match 1, batting first Rosanna made 5 for 100 with Matt Rose (28 retired) and James Westmore (24)  at the compulsory closure, however Yallambie chased down the target 3 for 109  with Huss Almatrah 2/28 making them one up in the series. In Match 2, Rosanna made 9 for 89 with Huss Almatrah (29no) the main contributor and managed to restrict Yallambie to 6 for 69 with Kane Shaw (2/5) and Ben Peake (2/11). With the series at 1 all, Match 3 was required to decide the premiership. Rosanna crucially won the toss for the third time! They batted again first and with a good even batting performance compiled 7 for 97 (a highest score of 16 by Scott Dunbar with five players scoring between 12 and 16). In reply, Yallambie could only manage a total of 57 with the best of the bowlers Huss Almatrah (3/7), Vivek Strinavasan (2/8) and James Westmore (2/4).  It was a great performance to come back from 1 down to take the series 2-1 and a well deserved premiership.
